LEARNING, GROWING, & GIVING BACK
At Creative Reuse Marketplace (CRM), we provide a welcoming, creative environment where individuals can gain valuable work experience while helping support our nonprofit's daily operations. Participants learn at their own pace through hands-on activities such as customer service, organizing materials, managing inventory, and assisting with creative projects and workshops.
Our Youth Employment Program offers young people opportunities to gain first-job experience, develop workplace skills, and build confidence while providing much-needed support to CRM.
Soft Skills: Participants develop communication, teamwork, problem-solving, organization, time management, responsibility, and customer service skills.
Hard Skills: Participants gain practical experience in retail operations, inventory management, sales, marketing, and basic business and administrative tasks.
Through these experiences, CRM creates a mutually beneficial environment where participants gain skills and confidence while contributing to the success of our nonprofit and the community we serve.

CREATIVITY & WELL-BEING
Anxiety and depression are main contributors to mental health issues across the United States. As such, this program delivers a participatory model of mental health recovery through the development of a collaborative community resource that provides a creative workspace for building confidence, problem-solving skills, focus and comfort; for promoting education and environmental stewardship in order to increase self-worth and empowerment; and through hands-on work experience offering life skills training and future employability. All of which lessen anxiety, stress, frustration and depression and leads to positive reinforcement.
