 The Illinois Times article highlights how Springfield's Creative Reuse Marketplace (CRM), led by Adena Rivas, is serving as the fabrication hub for Octopolis - a monumental, interactive octopus sculpture made from reclaimed materials that will debut at the Burning Man festival before returning to Springfield as a public art installation. It showcases how CRM is mobilizing local volunteers, donated materials, and community partnerships to transform discarded resources into a large-scale work of environmental art that promotes sustainability, creativity, and community engagement.  Written by Karen Witter. 

Newschannel 20,  Eliza Petry, interviewed and put together a wonderful story about the strong, amazing, creative women involved with the Creative Reuse Marketplace (CRM). This story was presented for the monthly Women Without Limits news spotlight.
